CSU-Piat Campus Convenes First Academic Council Meeting for SY 2025–2026

Piat, Cagayan — Cagayan State University–Piat Campus officially convened its first Academic Council Meeting for the School Year 2025–2026 on July 10, 2025. The meeting served as a crucial platform for academic planning, evaluation, and preparation for the upcoming semester.
Campus Executive Officer and faculty members gathered to discuss key updates, plans, and policies to ensure smooth and effective operations for the new academic year. The meeting agenda covered the following core points:
• Post-Graduation Report
The council reviewed the recently concluded commencement exercises and assessed its overall outcomes, including participation, program execution, and areas for improvement.
• Registrar’s Updates
The Registrar’s Office provided updates on the status of enrollment and the submission of grades from the previous semester. Faculty members were reminded of deadlines and protocols to ensure timely documentation.
• Presentation of the Summary of Workloads
A summary of faculty workloads was presented, outlining teaching assignments, special tasks, and other academic responsibilities. Adjustments and clarifications were made where necessary to promote fairness and efficiency.
• Updates on Instructional Materials
The council discussed the current status of instructional materials, including the availability of updated modules, references, and digital content. Faculty members were encouraged to continue developing and refining course materials aligned with CHED standards and learner needs.
• Reminders for SY 2025–2026
Important reminders for the new academic year were emphasized, including adherence to academic calendars, participation in university-wide activities, and continued commitment to academic excellence and student-centered teaching.
