CSU Piat ROTC Unit Undergoes Philippine Army Inspection

CSU Piat ROTC Unit submits to Philippine Army's Regional Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (RAATI)
Following months of planning and training, the CSU-Piat Campus Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (CSU-Piat ROTC) proudly displayed their tactical prowess during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI), yesterday, May 28.
An annual activity of the Department of Military Science and Tactics 201 (CAG) Community Defense Center, 2RCDG Reserve Command, PA, this year’s RAATI Inspection Team, led by LTC Rogelio T. Benitez GSC PA (RES) conducted Administrative Inspection and Rank Inspection and evaluated the corps’ Ceremonial Parade, Map Reading skills, Company Drill, Assembly and Disassembly of Rifles and Pistols, Small Unit’s Tactics and Disaster Response, Rescue Operations, and other oral and demonstration graded exercises.
Also, as part of the evaluation process, LTC Ricardo B. Casauay PA (RES) gave a Commandant’s Briefing prior to the program proper.
Accordingly, the activity aims to determine the existing condition of the ROTC unit in terms of its administrative efficiency, training management, and quality of education provided to the cadets as reflected by the unit’s quality of administration, personnel, facilities, training aids, equipment, and support extended by school authorities.
This year’s preparation for the RAATI was a collaborative effort of CEO Hitler C. Dangatan, CCJE Dean Maita Guadamor, ROTC Coordinator Daniel Doquilla, ROTC Commandant LTC Ricardo B. Casauay PA (RES), and the cadets and cadettes.
