The University Pres. Dr. Urdujah A. Tejada, the University Alumni President and Piat Municipal Mayor Atty. Carmelo Villacete and Partnership and Resource Mobilization VP Lina Garan attended the exit conference for CESO Volunteer Assistant Paul Mbatya yesterday.

Dr. Paul Mbatya, a Ugandan Canadian volunteer assistant, stayed in the campus for almost three weeks and was assigned to assist in the dairy production, particularly, in pasture production and management, farm record keeping, packaging, promotion and marketing of milk.

In an interview, he said the academic and support staff are very enthusiastic about the performance and the development of the dairy farm. It is very much anticipated that the dairy will perform to its potential in the future. The “Bottle Neck” , however, is getting the necessary and adequate financial assistance to enable the dairy to achieve its maximum potential.
