BTLED researchers win 3rd place In University's 2024 Search for Best Undergrad Thesis

Student researchers from CSU Piat- College of Teacher Education secured the third spot in the Experimental Category in the recently concluded 2024 University Search for Best Undergraduate Thesis held at CSU Andrews on June 20, 2024.
Ms. Marie-Cris G. Dumrique, a 4th-year Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) presented their group’s thesis Production and Evaluation of Carbonize Rice Straw and Corn Husk Briquettes as a Sustainable and Alternative Fuel for Cooking.
With Marie Cris Dumrique, the group members Joana Marie Capili, Jojo Macugay , and Ervin Pasilabban were guided by their adviser Dr. Johny P. Alvarez who also won 3rd place as Best Mentor in the same category.
