CSU Piat sends off its 380 graduates

Despite light rain showers, Cagayan State University (CSU) Piat Campus continued to send off its cohort of 380 graduates into the next chapter of their lives through the 46th Conferment Ceremonies last July 4.

As this event marks the graduates’ academic achievements the different speakers reflected on the impact they have made on our campus community and looked forward to their continued success and contributions to society.

Dr. Arthur G. Ibañez, OIC Office of the President, directed the graduates to keep pursuing their academic advancement, advising further to view obstacles and hardships as chances for personal development. Moreover, Dr. Ibañez highlighted the importance of the key skills that the university taught and imparted to them and advised the graduates to use these competencies and utilize them as a guide to succeed in their careers.
Guest Speaker Hon. Atty. Carmelo O. Villacete, the Piat municipal mayor and a member of the Board of Regents, shared with the graduates his valuable experiences through his career and guided them on the importance of having a goal, likewise as to having great dreams as these are free and limitless.
Lastly, Kiat Jaizanah Niña A. Tan, BSED Social Science Cum Laude, gave the address of thanks as likewise sharing their struggles and triumphs as college students. In the end, the graduates cheered and thanked CSU for every opportunity it gave to the graduates and for giving them fruitful years in college.
