CSU Piat Campus – College of Agriculture Receives Over P3.2 Million Worth of Agricultural Facilities and Inputs from DA-NUPAP 2025

Cagayan State University – Piat Campus, through its College of Agriculture, is proud to be one of the recipients of a significant grant from the Department of Agriculture Region 02 under the National Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP) 2025.
The grant includes the provision of:
• 1 unit Greenhouse with Hydroponics system
• 1 unit Mushroom House
• 1 unit Poultry House
• Various agricultural inputs for the establishment of an Edible Landscaping Garden
The total project cost amounts to ₱3,215,012.41, aimed at promoting sustainable and innovative food production systems within the campus and its surrounding communities.
This initiative supports CSU’s ongoing commitment to agricultural excellence and community development. The newly acquired facilities will not only serve as vital tools for practical learning and research among agriculture students but will also promote food security and urban farming practices in the region.
The university extends its gratitude to the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 02 for this invaluable support and partnership. Through this collaboration, CSU continues to strengthen its role in cultivating future agricultural leaders and fostering progressive farming techniques in the Cagayan Valley.
