In its continuous drive for excellence, Cagayan State University (CSU) Piat successfully conducted its Internal ISO Audit to ensure that its services and operations remain aligned with international quality standards.
The audit was carried out in two phases under the guidance of Dr. Laizel Dangatan-De Dios, campus ISO focal person and the Campus Executive Officer (CEO). The first batch, held on September 18, focused on the colleges and frontline offices, while the second batch, conducted on September 26, covered the remaining campus offices.
The internal audit team led by Audit Team Leader Ms. Rachel Ann O. Caranguian evaluated the university’s compliance with ISO standards, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement.
Following the audit, the internal auditors presented their results and significant findings to the campus administration and office heads. In response, the Campus Executive Officer expressed gratitude and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to quality, stating:
“We accept the findings with openness and commit ourselves to address them with diligence. This audit has reminded us that quality is a continuous journey, and we are determined to keep improving our systems and services for the benefit of our students and stakeholders. Together, we will uphold the standards of excellence that ISO promotes.”
The heads of offices and program chairs underwent the rigorous assessment, ensuring that CSU Piat continues to strengthen its Quality Management System (QMS).
